Once dance training starts we start to see the stars shine and the ones that aren’t so shiny. Girls will be eliminated. This is reminded to the dancers to ensure they are on their A game. Being a ROBOGIRL isn’t just about being a good dancer and singers we need personality, some X factor! Some have no problem showing it to the displeasure of the other girls.
He tries to control the music they dance too, the choreography, the wardrobe. Everything! Everyone hates Deva’s designs, they are totally off track. The designs are rejected, Deva is devastated. Michael tells Gigi he won’t direct or involve Keisuke if Deva stays on the project. Deva feels this is going to happen and starts a revolution getting all the girls and even Gigi on her side saying the company is being unfair and even accuses Bec the producer of drugging her!
One girl is really interested in electronics and technology. A dance practice is scheduled but Tomasz (who has a crush on this girl) from the robot department asks her to do a photo shoot on the side, she accepts, but it runs over time. This happens more than once! Gigi is so upset about her being repeatedly being late that she gets kicked out of the troupe. This girl runs straight to Deva, who assures her, ‘Don’t worry we will do our own thing!’ Deva takes Girl A to Tomasz in the Robot Dept and tells him what happened. Tomasz who really likes Girl A wants to make her happy so suggests they do their own music video on the side, to spite them (and win the girls heart). Tomasz puts together an amazing music video together for her and it is secretly shot out… At lunch a few days after Gigi sees all the girls huddled around a tablet watching a You Tube video, she has a look and is totally flabbergasted to find out it’s Girl A in her own music video!
Unbeknownst to Keisuke, Jay Muller (composer in the studios) is actually inserting his songs in a ploy to become the composer for the Robogirls, and he manages to “switch the songs” and keep Keisuke in the dark. Keisuke demands constant updates, they send the videos WITHOUT SOUND. He keeps wondering but is told there is a technical problem (or Jay plays stupid “huh? you have no sound? I can hear the file find with sound … maybe because you have Apple and I have PC”. MLB shoots a video of the girls rehearsing on his phone and sends to Keisuke. Keisuke replies instantly asking what music are they dancing too?? MLB replies, “it’s yours man”, then it all comes out, Keisuke is furious, Jay gets fired.
The dancers have to learn an new song and dance steps, will they make it time for the scheduled MV shoot in only a few days!
